Lest We Forget – Anzac Day 2014

Lest We Forget – Anzac Day 2014

April 25th is Anzac Day in New Zealand and Australia – a day of remembrance to honour those killed in war for our country and commemorate the many returned servicemen and women.

This is a national holiday in New Zealand and usually begins early in the morning with Anzac Dawn services held at war memorials throughout the country.  It’s a very poignant day and it’s very heartwarming to see so many people turning up in support to pay their respects.

Here are a few pictures from the Dawn Service at the Invercargill Cenotaph.
