We love capturing people doing what they love, which is why hobby collections are so fun.
We recently had the pleasure of capturing Kim and Darren’s wedding, but a couple of weekends prior to that we got together on a sunny afternoon to shoot a few frames in an engagement session.
Ever since Christchurch’s major earthquake in 2011, whenever we’re up that way we try to get into the CBD to capture the ever changing cityscape.
On a recent night shoot walkabout in the CBD we were approached by a random stranger (Kaleb) and asked to take his picture. We’ll post the Christchurch images shortly, but in the meantime here are the portraits we captured.
As we enter the wedding season with our first wedding already in production, I figured it was the perfect time to share our last wedding of last season.

Winter can be a long dark 3 months of freezing temperatures and depressing bleak days; so we decided to start this winter off with a bit of colourful fun.
Recently we’ve been working on getting a few portfolio shots together to show potential clients what we can do. As part of this process we’ve joined forces with a couple of local businesses to showcase their products and services at the same time – which also gives our shoots a bit of focus and direction rather than just being self-assigned projects.
This is our second gallery post for this week’s Wordpress Weekly Photo Challenge. These photos are more focused on the people rather than the streets and buildings.
